The Gbenga Fawehinmi Foundation recently visited the exceptional young minds at St. Helens Unity Grammar School.

Our mission was clear: to equip these students with the emotional and mental tools necessary to navigate the modern world.

The conversation was centered on Integrity. In a world full of “peer pressure,” how do you remain “Unity-focused”? We explored the psychology of the group, helping students identify when they are being led astray and how to reclaim their individual identity.

Creating a Safe Space

Addressing bullying was a cornerstone of our visit. We emphasized that excellence cannot thrive in an atmosphere of fear. By encouraging the students to look out for one another, we aim to create a school culture where everyone feels safe enough to succeed.

Focusing on the Goal

We concluded our series with a deep dive into academic discipline. We reminded the students at St. Helens that the distractions of today—unhealthy friendships or social drama—are temporary, but the foundation of a solid education is permanent.
